Higher Love Sermon Series
Do any of us ever feel that we have enough love? What can fill the gap between the love we long for and the love we currently experience? How is God’s love better, higher, more expansive, and more fulfilling than any other love we have experienced? Join us as we continue our Higher Love sermon series, looking at what real love is, as God defines it.

God is doing some amazing things in our city and around the world. We are looking for everyday stories that are happening within our church and city. If you have a story, large or small, about what God is doing in your life, share it with us here.

Come shop for a cause this Saturday, November 11th! Our Ministry of the Month is Grace and Peace Ministries. They exist to be the hands and feet of Christ to families in Richmond’s inner city, walking alongside them to show the love of God through spiritual healing, educational support and life-skills coaching. All of our proceeds from Saturday’s sales go to support this ministry.

Thrift is gearing up for Christmas! We are in need of popular toys for the holidays that include the following: Build-a-Bear animals and clothes, Legos/Duplos, games/puzzles, dolls and trucks. We also need tabletop items (dishes, china, flatware, napkins, table linens), as well as dining tables and chairs.

The store is in desperate need of bags! Preferably larger ones with handles. If you save grocery bags, we would appreciate you bringing them by!

HOPE Church

Offering experiences, relationships and places where people can find life and purpose through Jesus Christ. From the beginning, Hope has been trying to help people who don’t know God, have every opportunity to do so. It’s part of our DNA. Since we believe a church is people and not a building, this means our mission can happen every day and all over the place – as Hope people go to work or school, and spend time with family, friends and colleagues. This means that we could offer experiences anywhere we find ourselves – a ball game, an evening out for dinner with a friend, a neighborhood cookout – you get the picture. It means that many places can become places where we seek to help people find life, God-life, the real thing. And we know that this often happens though sincere relationships and friendships.
