Discover Hope
This two-day class is a great first step at Hope. It is designed to help people learn about what it means to have a relationship with Christ and what it means to be a member of Hope. We also teach about our mission, vision and values and share about specific ways you can get more involved. The next session is November 3 & 4 . Register here

Stories
God is doing some amazing things in our city and around the world. We are looking for everyday stories that are happening within our church and city. If you have a story, large or small, about what God is doing in your life, share it with us here.

Hope Students
Our annual Fall Flannel gathering is this Sunday, October 29, 5-7pm @ The Lodge. All middle schoolers and high schoolers are invited! Join us for games, treats and lots of fun. Invite your friends and wear a flannel!

Parents, we would love your help with feeding the students at Fall Flannel this Sunday. Click here to bring a dish of Mac-n-cheese.

Operation Christmas Child
Hope will be collecting Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes this year! Help us reach our goal of collecting 1,000 shoeboxes! Simply pick up a box (or as many as you’d like) in Hope Kids between now and November 5, fill it with the appropriate gifts, then return it to Hope Kids between by November 12. Find more information at hopecentral.com/occ.

Our community is growing, and we are excited about several new opportunities to join our staff. Find details at hopecentral.com/employment.

Hope Places Update
TOTAL HOPE PLACES COST                      $13,845,000.00

BEGINNING  BALANCE FROM IAH               -$1,743,287.56

FUNDS RECEIVED TO DATE                          -$9,187,372.70

CURRENT BALANCE TO FUND                   $2,914,339.74

Outstanding Pledge contributions                  -$1,599,577.71

BEST CASE SCENARIO TO FUND                   $1,314,762.03

This is our very best case scenario in closing out Hope Places.  Historically, only 90% of the overall pledges are fulfilled.  If Hope finds this scenario to be true, we would need to fund an additional $700,000 – $800,000 on top of the $1,314,762.

HOPE Church

Offering experiences, relationships and places where people can find life and purpose through Jesus Christ. From the beginning, Hope has been trying to help people who don’t know God, have every opportunity to do so. It’s part of our DNA. Since we believe a church is people and not a building, this means our mission can happen every day and all over the place – as Hope people go to work or school, and spend time with family, friends and colleagues. This means that we could offer experiences anywhere we find ourselves – a ball game, an evening out for dinner with a friend, a neighborhood cookout – you get the picture. It means that many places can become places where we seek to help people find life, God-life, the real thing. And we know that this often happens though sincere relationships and friendships.
